These are sociable, thought provoking ‘talk and discussion’ events. Centred around a variety of topics and themes, we are happy to work in partnership with other organisations, venues or businesses.
Whether in social community settings, or at large festivals and events, the main purpose is to get the audience to engage and open their minds to different ways of seeing things. We often incorporate visuals and other performances, like spoken word and music, and meet, think eat and drink.
By looking at these previous events, you will get more of an idea of the range of subjects we cover. Any of these can be presented at your venue or organisation, as one-offs or a series. We are also happy to work with you around any other subjects you have in mind.
Please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to find out more.
Written by philosopher Dr Greg Scorzo. The dialogues form the core of these courses or one off events. They cover universal philosophical themes, e.g. love, sex, procreation, beauty or mortality. The audience firstly listen to the recorded dialogues and then engage in their own dialogue, led by Greg. Prepare to be perplexed and challenged. These are moving thought experiments.
ART OF THINKING or POST-SOCRATIC DIALOGUES Courses
The courses can be 6 – 12 weeks and aim to develop your own personal philosophical insight and unravel your thought processes. These will give you time to think and question current cultural trends and tools to use in other aspects of your personal life.
We are also able to do summer schools or weekend courses, conferences etc.
