Why does what makes us laugh make us laugh?
An entertaining hour long talk illustrated by clips, by the insightful and entertaining philosopher Dr Greg Scorzo, followed by an audience discussion.

We’ll be looking at different comedy genres (Observational, Slapstick, Political, Edgy and Surreal) and reflecting on how they challenge us.What was acceptable compared to what is acceptable today? Is satire still allowed?

In 2018 are comedians becoming more timid for fear of offending people and ruining their career? How would ground-breaking work of yesterday be viewed today?
