You will also be helping to enable us to provide our (currently voluntary) core staff with the opportunity to carry on developing the project. We will be eternally grateful. The more of you that subscribe or donate the further along the path we will get to pay our writers, illustrators and contributors the rate they deserve. We will be able to promote and expand awareness of our work to a much wider audience, and give the project and it’s vision a sense of continuity. We will have the ability to respond to the need of our current contributors, to have more opportunities to showcase their work. We will also be able to bring in new contributors and begin self-publishing books of compilations of articles and essays.

You will join an online community to foster and grow new thinking, This is a space where people who want to question norms and prevalent rhetoric feel comfortable. We want everyone to feel free to say potentially controversial things without being subjected to insults, threats, or intimidation. This is why any personal attacks or shaming will not get onto the pages.  We won’t however censor ideas or stifle debates.
